Sumitomo H2 Summit Hydrogen Control Room
Halo Tech were engaged by JGC Corporation (Japan) to design, engineer and construct both operator control room and operations warehouse for the H2 Summit Hydrogen plant in Yarwun Queensland.
Client concept required buildings to be constructed as modular sea container buildings. The scope of work included Mechanical and structural design, Fabrication, Electrical design and install and internal fit out.
Sumitomo H2 Summit Hydrogen Warehouse
The custom container Warehouse was build along side the Control Room.
The project for both modular container buildings ran a duration of 14 months from concept to commissioning of buildings on site.
Demolition – Redundant Chlorine Manufacturing Plant
Halo Tech were engaged by Orica Yarwun to undertake the Demolition of their Redundant Chlorine Manufacturing Plant.
This work was very high risk given the nature of the hazardous chemical once used in this process. The demolition works consisted of all classes of demolition – Mechanical Equipment, Electrical Services, Major Steel Structures and Concrete.
The project was carried out over the span of 18 months injury free.
Approx. Demolition – 150 metric Tonnes
Met Masts Decommissioning
Halo Tech were engaged by the Art Group to provide Licensed demolition supervision to oversee the safe and compliant decommissioning of 160 m high meteorological (met) masts.
Works were coordinated to ensure a systematic approach, with continuous monitoring of site conditions and strict adherence to established safety procedures to minimise risk to personnel, property, and the environment.
Silo Formwork Components
John Beaver Australia contacted the team of at Halo Tech to assist with the construction of some unique formwork Cones for the Silo Construction at Gladstone Cement Australia Plant.
Our team of qualified tradesman took John Beaver’s concept sketches and drawings; created developments and constructed the Formwork cones with first fit accuracy. Largest Conical Diameter – 5300mm
Warehouse Roof Replacement
Halo Tech were awarded the Replacement of the Main Stores Warehouse Roof on the Orica Manufacturing – Yarwun Facility Site.
Project scope was to undertake the removal of existing failed roof and replace along with the supply and installation of a new 60m Vented Ridge.
Roof size – 1500sqm.
Trade Waste Pipeline Cleaning
Client had reported a significant loss in flowrates and the transfer of the Tradewaste to an external holding facility.
Our team was quick to identify the requirement for in-line cleaning and conducted several cleaning runs over a 3 day period. Flowrate returned to normal rates.
